Fish Creek Provincial Park
One of the largest urban parks in North America. Great for walking, biking, picnics, or just getting some fresh air.

Bow River
You can fish and float - at the same time if you want to! Hop in the river for a fresh catch for dinner! Grab your paddle board, kayak, rubber dingy, or floating unicorn and soak up the sunshine! Don't forget your life jacket!

Glenmore Reservoir
A beautiful loop for walking or cycling with peaceful views, especially lovely in the evening.

Reader Rock Garden
A quiet hidden gem with pathways, flowers, and great city views. Perfect for a relaxed afternoon stroll.

A classic stop if you want panoramic views of the city.

Stephen Avenue Walk
A pedestrian street downtown filled with shops, restaurants, and historic buildings.

Studio Bell
Home of the National Music Centre. Even if you’re not a museum person, this one is fun and interactive.

Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters
Excellent coffee and cozy spots around the city.

Monogram Coffee
Great atmosphere and consistently good coffee.

Native Tongues Taqueria
A local favorite for tacos and casual dining.

Chinook Centre
One of Calgary’s largest malls with plenty of shopping and dining options.

Crossroads Market
A fun indoor market with food stalls, local vendors, and fresh finds.

🎉 Seasonal Must-Sees

Calgary Stampede (July)
A world-famous festival with rodeos, concerts, and lots of energy.

In winter, keep an eye out for holiday markets, skating rinks, and seasonal events around the city.

If you feel like heading out of the city, Calgary is perfectly located for easy day trips to some of Alberta’s most beautiful parks and mountain towns.
